The Lido Cinema accepts Visa and MasterCard
There are no extra charges for buying tickets online.
Movie tickets are made available on this web site subject to the classification of the relevant film given by the applicable film and literature classification authority. By purchasing a ticket, you represent that you are of an age permitted to purchase a ticket pursuant to the relevant classification for the film.
Where tickets requiring identification are purchased, suitable identification must be presented upon collection of the tickets. Failure to present suitable identification will result in the applicable tickets being forfeited and tickets to alternative suitable shows offered in their place.
If you do not receive a confirmation (in the form of a confirmation page or email) after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm the Booking by phoning the cinema. The Lido Cinema will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you did not receive an electronic confirmation (for instance, if an incorrect email address was entered).
Your ticket/booking confirmation will be sent via an email to the email address that you entered in the Customer Details section when booking the tickets. You can print this ticket off or have it available on your smart phone and go straight into the cinema when you arrive at the Lido (Of course we’d still love you to buy some refreshments at our bar). Alternatively, you take the credit card that you used to purchase the tickets online to the Lido Hamilton box office and we will print your tickets for you.
Refunds and Exchanges
Tickets purchased via this website are sold for a specific session only and are sold on a strict no-refund no-exchange and no-transfer basis unless required by law.
Prices on this website include GST where applicable.
Pricing and Other Errors
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect (regardless of whether because of an error in a price posted on this website or otherwise communicated to you), or you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or pre-sale date or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then the Lido Cinema will have the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund to you the amount that you paid. This will apply regardless of human error or a transactional malfunction of this website.
Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the Lido Cinema. Should this occur, the Lido Cinema will attempt to contact you and give you a full refund. The Lido Cinema may, at its discretion, refuse to sell tickets to you or withdraw any tickets from sale via this website.
Contact the Lido Cinema personnel, during business hours, on 07 838 9010 to request assistance with your Booking or Payment. If there is no reply, please leave a message and someone will get back to you as soon possible.
Modification of terms
The Lido Cinema reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or modify the website from time to time. The user shall be responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.
Ticket purchase and billing information
When purchasing tickets through this website you must provide personal details, including credit card billing information. Your credit card details are used for real-time billing of ticket purchases and are not retained on our server.
Electronic email addresses
We will record your email address if you transmit it to us electronically. Your email address will only be used for the purpose for which you provide it and will not be added to a mailing list unless you request that this be done. We will not disclose your email address without your consent.
These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with, and shall be governed by, the laws of New Zealand.
